Cooper University Hospital SUPPORT SERVICES ASSOCIATE in Camden, New Jersey
Perform various laundry and environmental duties throughout the hospital.
Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment.
Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy.
Receives in-service and performs proper cleaning and care of all equipment.
Attends and follows all in-services provided annually, monthly, weekly and as arises.
Follows all hospital and departmental policies consistently.
Performs assigned duties to the designated standard at all times.
Individual must have a willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continual basis, accept supervision from a number of persons, and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions.
The ability to perform tasks with due consideration for patients, staff, visitors in the vicinity.
The performance and quality standards for the assignment will be met constantly.
Scheduled Days / Hours: Days of the week will vary; Full Time (40 hours weekly); must work rotational weekends and holidays.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Certifications: Obtain the American Heart Association BLS certification once onboard - required within a timeframe.
Experience: Customer service skills; able to take direction from multiple individuals; the ability to cope with problems and emergencies, and make effective decisions; and great planning and organizational skills.
