The SEI Advisor Network is a strategic business unit of SEI.

The Advisor Network Solution Group has an immediate opening for National Account Manager for the Broker Dealer National Accounts Team. This position is responsible for supporting the broker dealer distribution channel. There are approximately 215 national and regional relationships

The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage a group of Strategic Broker Dealer relationships

  • Manage C-Level Executive relationships

  • Help to increase market share by selling and promoting SEI's asset management and business solutions throughout our Independent Broker Dealer relationships

  • Provide product training to BD home office personnel

  • Overcome technical and business objections and help investigate and resolve issues

  • Work closely with outside sales and relationship managers in the field

  • Coordinate issues and projects with other business units as required

  • Participate in market unit initiatives and projects

  • Keep abreast of industry standards and knowledge to be able to communicate with client

  • Interact effectively with other SEI teams

  • Negotiate contracts and revenue share agreements as well as develop and execute business plans to increase net new revenue and market share

  • Coordinate marketing and lead generation initiatives to achieve new business growth goals

  • Prepare and deliver presentations regarding the SEI business solutions

  • Understanding and experience with Independent Broker Dealer and Advisory platforms

Position Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business, finance or a related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience

  • A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in the financial services industry working with Independent Broker Dealers

  • Knowledge of SEI's investment products

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Problem solving skills

  • Organizational and analytical skills

  • Interpersonal and communications skills

  • Must be willing to work in an open floor environment

  • Up to 40% travel required

This position reports to the Managing Director.

While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require that an individual drive and travel consistently and long distances, to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to outside weather conditions. The individual must be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
